Tzintzun Aguilar-Izzo is an artist/poet/activist, who dances along the borderlines of identity and environmental transformation. Tzintzun dissects the mask that are projected on our bodies, imprison our sense of self and frame our reality. Ze accomplish these multifaceted tasks through concise and contextual acts of creative rebellion. The works of art/vandalism aren't static. They directly engage divided communities, constructively weaving together the shards of our fractured humanity.
Tzintzun is a member of məˈtänəmē colləctive (Collective Mentonymy), a filmmaking/dance collective that explores empty spaces of environmental history. Ze is also a coordinator and writer for Multifr∞nt, a media/activist organization that unites the fronts of resistance.
